I have seven years of experience focusing on UX strategy and design since completing my master’s from DePaul in 2011. I graduated from the New Media Studies program, which was essentially an HCI degree with a heavy liberal arts slant. In addition to core training in design, coding and multimedia production, we were also immersed in discourse about technology and its impact on society.
My specialty lies in rapid prototyping mobile applications, but I’m not afraid to be hands-on for the research phase. I also have a lot of experience in moderating usability testing sessions and Google Design Sprints.
When I'm off the clock, I love to decompress from the digital world by getting outside as much as I can with my bike, my old film camera or my hammock.
