After sketching out countless concepts, it’s time to export the best of the bunch into prototype form to see which ones hold up to real life interactions in the wild.
I like to export to InVision early and often. Long before putting anything in front of a user or client, I test out early sketches myself in InVision to test out whether a direction I’m taking makes sense in the context of a full user flow. Users don’t look a single screen on a website or app in isolation, so I avoid judging the merits of any concept until I viewed in the proper context of the full user journey.
And yes, there are countless additional plug-ins with Sketch that animations. I’ve found them useful for clients pitches, but none of them have been able to replace the everyday utilitarian usefulness of InVision.
